Election 2015 Morning Summary

At 8am the morning after Election 2015 we have 603 of 650 results in. Currently the BBC are forecasting a Conservative majority of 8. Here is a brief summary of what happened:

1. Labour-Conservative marginals held up reasonably well. There were few Conservative gains from Labour and few Labour gains from Conservative.
2. The SNP reduced Labour and the Liberal Democrats to one seat each.
3. Labour and the Conservatives almost completely wiped out the Liberal Democrats.
